How It Works

From "new lead" to "you're booked": without touching your phone.

The life of a lead
📋

First, it learns your business in depth.

Setup starts with a real onboarding, not a two-question signup. You walk through your services and categories (with the same filter questions Thumbtack asks customers), your actual pricing for each service (hourly, flat rates, minimums), your service area and travel radius, job rules like minimum budget and notice required, the work you don't take, your greeting and tone, your follow-up schedule, licenses and insurance, and anything the AI should always (or never) say. There's even a box to paste your sales script or FAQs.

Every answer becomes ammunition. The more you give it, the sharper its quotes and the fewer questions it has to ask your customers. Most pros finish in about 5 minutes, and everything stays editable from your dashboard later.
🔌

Then you connect Thumbtack, once.

You sign in through Thumbtack's official authorization screen (we never see your password). That's the whole integration: from then on, Thumbtack notifies SwiftReplAI the moment a new lead or message arrives on your account.

Nothing changes on Thumbtack's side. Your profile, your targeting, your budget, untouched. You can disconnect any time, and if the connection ever drops, you're alerted immediately with a one-tap reconnect.

A lead arrives. SwiftReplAI reads the whole job.

Within seconds of the customer hitting "contact", we receive everything they told Thumbtack: the service category, every filter answer (move size, dates, stairs, property type…), and whatever they wrote in their own words.

Example: "Local Moving · 2-bedroom home · within a week · elevator both sides" + "Need help unloading a 26ft U-Haul, what would that cost?" The AI sees all of it, not just the message.
🧠

It writes the reply from your setup, not a script.

The reply is built from what you configured during onboarding: your real rates and minimums, the services you do (and don't) offer, your service area and notice rules, how you greet customers, and every training example you've approved. It quotes the actual math for their job, answers their question, and ends with the one follow-up question that moves the job forward.

Hi Sophie! For 2 movers at 3 hours, that'd be $450. We charge $150/hr with a 2-hour minimum. When were you looking to get this done?
🛡️

Safety checks run before anything sends.

Every reply passes through guardrails first. If a reply doesn't pass, it isn't sent. It's held for your review and you get an email, so the worst case is "you check it yourself," never "the bot said something wrong to a customer."

The big one: it never invents a price. Any dollar amount in a reply must trace back to pricing you entered. No made-up quotes, no guessed availability, no commitments you didn't authorize.
💬

The conversation keeps moving toward booked.

When the customer replies, a question, a date, a "how much for stairs?", the AI answers within seconds, in your voice, with the same guardrails. It confirms the date, sends your booking link at the right moment, and keeps each reply focused on the next step.

If the customer goes quiet, your follow-up schedule takes over: friendly nudges at the times you chose, which stop automatically the moment they answer, the job books, or you step in.

📋

Everything lands in your dashboard.

Every lead, every message, and a timeline with receipts: when the lead arrived, when the bot answered (usually within two minutes), what was sent. Leads sort themselves, Needs you, AI replied, Brand new, so a ten-second glance between jobs tells you if anything needs a human.

🕹️

You're in command the entire time.

Tap "I'll take it from here" on any conversation and the AI goes silent on that lead until you hand it back. Reply from the Thumbtack app yourself and it notices and steps aside automatically. There's a master on/off switch, reply-hours scheduling, and a training loop (👍 a great reply, ✏️ rewrite a mediocre one) that makes every future reply sound more like you.
